Great value for my first render

I tried RenderStreet for a small architectural visualization render. As a first-time user, I got some starting credits which really helped keep the cost down. The pricing structure was easy to understand, and my frames rendered faster than I expected. For someone on a budget, this was definitely worth it. I'll be back for bigger projects.

Good service, minor hiccups

I used RenderStreet for a Blender animation project last month. The GPU rendering for Cycles worked well, and the speeds were decent for the cost. Uploading my large .blend file via FTP was straightforward enough. My main issue was with the web interface; it felt a little clunky when checking render progress, and I had to refresh a few times. Overall, the value was there, but the user experience could use some polishing.

Smooth Modo rendering

Needed to render a complex Modo scene with V-Ray. The process started with uploading my project, which was quick using their system. I chose CPU rendering, and it finished my frames much faster than my local machine could. I used their web-based project management to monitor progress, and it was pretty accurate. There was one frame that came back with an error, but their support team was quick to re-render it without any fuss. The output quality was spot on, and the final cost was competitive with other services I've looked at. Took about 3 hours total for a 150-frame animation. It was a solid experience overall.

Anyone know if RenderStreet is better than RebusFarm for Blender Cycles? Been using Rebus for a while but always looking for something faster or cheaper.

Z Zach Perez 1 month ago
I switched from Rebus to RenderStreet a few months ago for Cycles stuff. Honestly, I find RenderStreet a bit more user-friendly and the speeds feel comparable, maybe even a little faster sometimes. Also pricing seems a bit more straightforward to me.

It really depends on your project. RenderStreet is super optimized for Blender, especially Cycles. For pure Blender projects, I'd say it's a solid contender and often cheaper for the same render times in my experience.

Hey, I'm new to render farms. Does RenderStreet give you any free credits or anything to try it out first? Like before I commit to a big project.

K Kyle Young 1 month ago
Yeah they do! I think I got like $10 or $15 when I signed up. Enough to run a small test render for sure.

You definitely get some starting credit. It's not a ton but it's enough to get a feel for how fast it is and test your scene setup before you pay.
